Timothy C. Greiner, MD
Dr. Greiner is the Professor and Director of Hematopathology and Amelia and Austin Vickery Professor of Pathology, Department of Pathology and Microbiology, University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Greiner completed his undergraduate degree in Biology Teaching at University at Northern Iowa. He received his MD degree from the University of Iowa’s College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology which included a research year in Molecular Pathology. After a 2 year Hematopathology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Greiner took a faculty position at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He has been an active researcher within the Center for Leukemia and Lymphoma Research where he has focused on the characterization of mutation in lymphomas and a molecular epidemiology of post transplant lymphoproliferative disorders. His clinical responsibilities include hematopathology and molecular pathology.
